After your procedure at Tina Davies Studio, you are left with beautiful brows that you’re excited to flaunt. Now what?

Your journey to beautifully healed brows begins with proper aftercare.

Follow these aftercare instructions that serve as a step-by-step guide for you to best take care of your new brows, prevent infection, and to ensure that you get the best results possible.

Blotting:

During the first day, continuously blot the area with a clean tissue to clean up fluids from the small wounds that have been created on your skin. All wounds weep fluids to induce healing. This step of blotting off fluids and excess pigment is critical to a good result and optimum color retention. If these fluids remain on the tattooed area and accumulate, you will get heavier scabbing.

Wash 1 - 7 Days After Your Procedure:

Using your fingertips, gently wash the tattooed area with mild non-scented soap and water morning and night. Do not use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants.

Pat dry with a clean tissue.

Apply a very thin layer of aftercare product that you were provided in your aftercare kit 3 times a day - breakfast, lunch, and bedtime.

Approximate Healing Schedule:

Day 1: Bold colour, dramatic appearance, tender, slight bleeding.

Day 2: Eyebrows look very dark, reddish and appears thicker in texture.

Day 3 - 4: Same as day 2 but a little lighter.

Day 5: Starting to itch, still reddish. You may use a toothpick to “poke” at the skin to relieve itching.

Day 5-7: Flaky skin starts - peels from the outside edges first. Skin may be itchy.

Flaky skin lifting from the edges on day 7

Day 7-10: Colour finishes flaking off. Colour appears too light with missing spots. Hair strokes may appear “blurry”.

Day 14 - 21: Colour and definition returns, color starts to reappear and even out.

Day 30: Healing is complete. All colour healed within the skin. Eyebrows should look very natural and soft.
