What is microblading?

Microblading is used manually with a hand tool to create realistic looking hair strips in the eyebrow line.

During the microblading, the specialist will carefully apply the hair strips to the skin using a special hand tool. For microblading, the tool is dipped into the pigment itself, then it is gently applied to the skin as individual hair strokes. Microblading mimics realistic hairs, giving you the natural look you were looking for. The microblading look is ideal for clients who want to fill in small gaps in the brow line. This treatment is suitable for people with light skin, because this is where the natural look comes into its own.

Is Microblading Painful?

Microblading is experienced by most people as a painful treatment. Especially if you compare it with the powder brow technique. Pretty logical, small cuts are placed in your skin. During such a treatment you can choose to apply an anesthetic. You have to request this yourself from your GP. Keep in mind that the anesthetic can cause the pigment to reject.

Microblading healing

The healing of microblading takes about 2 weeks. Shortests will arise which is very common when getting a tattoo. You should not touch or scratch the scabs during healing. The crusting is different for everyone. For example, it may take a little longer for some and it will scab a bit more violently than for others.

Microblading Disadvantages

Although microblading on paper is a great solution, more and more people are opting for an ombre brows / powders treatment. This is because microblading is not suitable for all skins.

Microblading is not suitable for all skin types

·The healing is unimaginable.

·This allows the fine lines to run out over a longer period of time.

·The treatment is painful

·It can cause scar tissue by cutting (too deep) into the skin.
